Help Make Study Abroad Possible for WSU Students

The Washington State University Education Abroad Scholarship Fund

This scholarship endowment was established by WSU donors Victoria, Patrick and Daniel Barney, in memory of their daughter and sister, Ann Elizabeth Barney.  For more about Ann, read her story that inspired this gift.

Sustainable Scholarships

The purpose of this endowment is to create a sustainable source of scholarship funding that will make an education abroad experience possible for WSU students who otherwise would not be able to study overseas. While the Barneys set this endowment up in Ann’s memory, they did so with the intention that this endowment grow with gifts from others, so that the broadest number of students might have the opportunity to study overseas.

Through participation in education abroad programs, WSU students gain the skills they will need to be competitive and successful in an increasingly global workforce.

Make a Life-Changing Difference

You can help make that possible for students well into the future by making a gift to The Washington State University Education Abroad Scholarship Endowment.  If you’d like to discuss how a current-use gift could have an immediate impact on students and help them study abroad now, contact Scott Garrepy
