Education Abroad

Exchanges

Exchanges are agreements between WSU and foreign universities. They are considered full-immersion programs because students directly enroll at the partner university for a semester or year. Students may select from exchanges sponsored by WSU or the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP). Exchanges can be competitive as there are a limited number of spaces available each year.

Students interested in Exchanges should be independent, resourceful, and have the confidence to seek out assistance at their host university. Students will find differences in educational systems and varying levels of student services.

Requirements

  1. 3.0 GPA
  2. Completion of 4 semesters (204 level) of the host country language, unless courses are offered in English

Costs

  1. Education Abroad Application fee: $300/semester
  2. WSU tuition
  3. For some exchanges, WSU room and board, student health insurance, SRC, and other WSU fees will also be charged to students' account. Please consult an Education Abroad Advisor for the specific of each exchange
  4. Miscellaneous Expenses (such as airfare, local transportation, books, etc.)
