Global Studies Minor

Earning a Global Studies Minor


TO CERTIFY

Students interested in certifying for the Global Studies minor have completed at least 60 credit hours with a 2.0 GPA or above.  In addition they should meet with the Director of Global Learning to develop a program of study that align with the students' academic and professional goals

REQUIREMENTS

To earn a GS minor, students must complete 18 credit hours of coursework from specific course categories. No courses taken Pass/Fail will count toward the 18 credit requirement.  At least 9 credits of approved coursework must be taken at the 300-400 level.  Six hours of transfer work may be counted toward the minor; the remaining 12 hours must be taken in residence at WSU or through WSU-approved education abroad or educational exchange courses.
