Starting/Tracking and H-1B Petition

Global Services utilizes case manangement software to procees H-1B petitions, including initial cases, transfers and extensions. This software also makes it possible for H-1B scholars and their hosting departments to input information and track the progress of their cases.

Hosting Department Representatives

Department representatives must first be signed up as a user to begin utilizing the functiontionality of our the Global Services case management software, Immigration Tracker. Before using the system for the first time you must contact the Global Services H-1B advisor, Dena Neese. Dena will set you up in the system with a user ID and password (this is different from your WSU user ID and password since the software is web based and not integrated into with the WSU systems).

After being assigned a user ID and password, you can log in and initiate a case. You can also check on the progress of your cases and run various reports. The link to the Immigration Tracker web portal for deparment representatives with user IDs and passords is:

H-1B Scholars

After you intitiate the case the scholar will recive an email notifying him that the case was initiated and directing him to a web portal where he will be asked to begin inputing data. During the ongoing process, through this online system, the scholar will also be able to check on the progress of his case.
