Academic Advising

Academic advising is essential to
a successful college experience.

Degree-seeking Undergraduate Students

All degree-seeking undergraduate students are required to meet with an academic advisor prior to registration each semester.  The Center for Academic Advising & Career Development (CACD) handles advisor assignments and other academic matters for undergraduate students.

Transfer Students

A variety of resources are available for Undergraduate Transfer Students through the CACD Transfer Center.

Graduate Students

Graduate students should contact their department for assistance regarding academic concerns.

F-1 Non-Degree Students

Non-degree students are advised by The Office of International Students & Scholars (OISS).  Email oiss@wsu.edu or call 509-335-4508 with questions.

J-1 Exchange Students
(through WSU Education Abroad)

Contact Office of Education Abroad at 509-335-6204 for academic advising.
