Summer Session 2012

If you are attending WSU for the first time beginning Summer Session 2012, please read the information on our Summer Arrival page.

**Please note:  All new students whose first term at WSU is Summer Session 2012 are required to attend International Fall Orientation.

August 9 & 10, Airport pick-up provided by International Programs
August 11, All Residence Halls open, 10:00 a.m.
August 11-13, Fall Alive!
August 14-17, International Fall Orientation
August 20, Classes begin


Orientation

The International Fall Orientation will help you become oriented to WSU and the surrounding community. International Fall Orientation starts on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 and continues through Friday, August 17, 2012. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER NOW!

Orientation attendance is required for all students (graduate, undergraduate, non-degree, exchange).

**Please note:
  All degree-seeking undergraduate students (freshman & transfer) are required to register for both International Fall Orientation AND Fall Alive!.

All degree seeking undergraduate students will have an orientation hold which will prevent them from registering for classes. All students must attend the academic sessions during Fall Alive! in order to enroll.


Transfer Students

Are you a transfer student?
You are considered to be a transfer student if you are transferring from a university or community college within the United States. Transfer students must also have 27 or more semester credits or 40 quarter credits that fully transfer to WSU.


Arriving by Friday, August 10, 2012 for Fall Orientation

Please arrange your travel itinerary to arrive in Pullman no later than August 10. Please be advised that there may be long processing times for international students at the U.S. port of entry. Allow extra time between flight connections.

Ground transportation from the Pullman/Moscow Airport to the WSU campus is offered by International Programs for two days prior to the first day of the university orientation at no charge. Please request airport pickup by completing the Airport Pickup Request Form.

If you are unable to arrive in Pullman by Friday, August 10, 2012, please contact Global Services immediately. Those students who do not attend the academic sessions during orientation will have difficulty enrolling for classes.
