As many of us at WSU look forward to our options for personal and professional development, many options seem to make themselves available with a little research. One of the strongest running and most prestigious of those options would be to be a Fulbright Scholar.

Thursday evening WSU’s Fulbright Academy hosted a forum, which included guest speakers espousing the benefits of a Fulbright Scholarship. The panel, comprised of Dr. Pat Sturko, Dr. Cornell Clayton, and Javier Reyes representing Administrative, Faculty and Student Fulbright Scholars, also shared their experiences and benefits gained from being a Fulbright Scholar.

If you are interested in an opportunity such as the Fulbright Scholarship, but were not able to attend the forum, there are still options for you to learn more. The WSU Fulbright Academy also sponsors a seminar series each semester.

Upcoming seminars will be held March 7th (France, Italy, Germany) and April 4th (Germany, Botswana), 2013, in CUE 518 from 12:00-1:00pm. This is another great resource to gain more information on Fulbright Scholarships and the WSU Fulbright Academy.
