Sledding

If there is snow, sleds can be purchased at department stores and hardware stores like Walmart, Shopko, RiteAid, the Grange Supply, and Tri-State for around $10-40. Many families in the U.S. often make this an all-family activity. Plastic garbage bags and large cardboard boxes work OK as sleds if the snow if favorable.

Good hillsides are available on campus golf course, and off-campus parks(e.g. Sunnyside Park. Be sure to look for areas which are clear of obstructions like trees, sign posts, and fences since collisions are very dangerous. Ask your local Pullman friends/contacts for their favorite areas.
