Global Research and Engagement ensures WSU international research proposals are competitive and provides critical management and administrative support.
From Afghanistan to Uganda to Indonesia, the Global Research and Engagement team has successfully established offices overseas across a range of contexts and operating environments. The team includes fiscal specialists who excel at managing funds in international contexts and travel specialists who have decades of experience booking and coordinating international travel arrangements. Whether it is supporting a visiting international researcher or establishing an international NGO, the GRE team has established competencies in navigating the complexities of international collarborations.
Global Research and Engagement has in-house capacity to design and operationalize Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) systems for projects and programs. The team also has a depth of experience in building capacity both on and off WSU’s campuses through face-to-face workshops and an innovative eight-week online course.
GRE provides pre-award management of international projects (finding partners, proposal development, translation of solicitations).
GRE provides expert post-award management of international projects, including general grant management, MEL, fiscal support, setting up overseas offices, partner/funder communications, report writing, and logistical support on and off campus.
