Hello everyone! I am an international student from Jordan currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. I came to WSU last semester (fall 2021). I was born in Mauritania and lived there for 11 years, then I moved to Jordan for almost 7 years and now here I am in Pullman. I love traveling and learning about new cultures, in fact, I have been to 11 countries so far. Also, I enjoy playing soccer and riding horses, and I currently go to the Chinook gym. About me
I am originally from India and currently pursuing my PhD in computer science from WSU, Pullman campus, specializing in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. I am very much intrigued by how technology can help the health system to be more efficient as, after all, algorithms are opinions embedded in code. When I am not studying, I love to spend my time listening to music and singing, and guilty of sometimes indulging in binge watching series. I am also a decent cook and love to try new recipes. I love making new friends and spending time with them and helping out. I serve as an International Peer Mentor where I help the new incoming international students transition to their new life here.
