The Campus Friends program brings international and domestic students together to build intercultural communication skills and to help build connections and friendships at WSU.
You can make new friends, learn about other cultures, prepare for study abroad, practice foreign language skills, share common interests, and more. It is all about personal connections and sharing culture.
The International Center is your point of connection. Take advantage of the opportunities WSU presents. Attending a variety of activities is a great way to have new acquaintances become new friends.
Here are some things to do together with your Campus Friend:
- Going out for coffee—or enjoy Friday Coffee Hour at the International Center at 3pm.
- Eat together at local restaurants
- Participate in Campus Friends events
- Go to the Student Recreation Center together
- Join an intramural sports team
- Attend a movie night at the CUB sponsored by the Student Entertainment Board
- Book a study room at the library and have a group study session
- Attend other campus event such as Athletics
You get the idea. Just have fun being Cougs together!
