Please read this information as a guide to help you with your studies and to maintain valid immigration status. The information below applies to all international students, at all campuses.

Contents

  1. Holiday travels
  2. WSU events for December and early January
  3. Dining services limited during break
  4. International Programs office hours winter break – Plan ahead!

  1. Holiday travels

If you do decide to travel internationally over the holidays, note that ISSS will offer same-day travel endorsement on your I-20 or DS-2019 if you come to open advising hours (1-3 p.m. Monday through Friday).

  1. WSU events for December and early January

Engage with great events WSU has to offer throughout the year, especially over the winter holiday. Visit this link for more information about what is happening around you.

  1. Dining services limited during break

For those staying in campus housing over the holiday, dining services will have limited availability during the university closure: dining.wsu.edu/hours. If you rely on dining services for your meals, be sure to identify other options in advance.

  1. International Programs office hours winter break – Plan ahead!

Please note that Dec. 26 and 27 are university holidays and the ISSS office will be closed. The office will be closed but available for emergencies only during winter break from Dec. 28 through Jan. 2. We cannot commit to processing requests within the usual 5-day turnaround time. Therefore, PLAN AHEAD if you need to submit a request to our office.

Please email ip.intlservices@wsu.edu for questions or to set up an advising appointment. We will make sure someone from our team is available to help during this time.

If you have any questions about the above announcements, please contact International Student and Scholar Services.
