1. Is summer your final term at WSU? Important status information

If summer 2022 will be your last term, remember these important immigration status points! Full-time enrollment or an approved Reduced Course Load is required.

  • Undergraduate: 6 credits
  • Graduate: 3 credits

If you have any questions about these requirements, please contact International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) or your local DSO.

2. Graduation Fair – Pullman campus

If you are graduating this spring, make sure to sign up for graduation.

The Spring Grad Fair will be March 29 and 30 at the CUB Junior Ball room, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

3. Request a graduation sash

ISSS will be offering a graduation sash to any international student who is graduating this semester for $15. The sash represents your home country. You may request it through myPassport.wsu.edu from now until March 31, 2022. 

Sashes are limited to current F-1 and J-1 international students only.

4. Free Sprintax software now available to download!

Are you preparing to file your taxes? On myPassport, you can find the Sprintax blog, a link to the Sprintax YouTube channel, Sprintax webinar registration links, and the link to download the Sprintax software.

  • Click on Tax Software>Tax Software Request>+Add New Tax Software Request
  • Read 3 paragraphs of information
  • Answer the question
  • Links will appear
  • Click “Submit” to get email with instructions and a unique code that will make the Sprintax software free to you.

Please note that ISSS staff cannot assist you with filing your taxes. If you have questions about filing taxes, please consult a tax professional.

5. Panel with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories – March 22

The ASCC and International Programs are hosting a panel with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL)! Learn more about working at SEL in Pullman.
