Please read this information as a guide to help you with your studies and to maintain valid immigration status. The information below applies to all international students, at all campuses.

  1. Thanksgiving holiday Nov. 24-25

ISSS advising hours will be available Monday through Wednesday of Thanksgiving week (Nov. 21-23), even though there will be NO CLASSES. Log in to our portal webpage between 1-3 p.m. (U.S. Pacific time).  

We invite you to join our International Programs Thanksgiving on Monday, Nov. 21, between 2-4 p.m. at the Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center. 

This event has been approved by the university and we will serve a buffet-style meal

  1. Cougar Health Services registration holds. Check your myWSU account

Do you have a Measles, Green Dot or BSRC hold in your myWSU account? If so, these holds can prevent you from registering for the spring 2023 semester and can impact your F-1/J-1 status.

The BSRC workshop is mandatory for all first-year and transfer students who are under the age of 21 as of Aug. 1 during their first semester on the Pullman campus.

  1. International Programs winter break office hours

Please note that Dec. 26 and 27 are university holidays and the ISSS office will be closed. The office will be closed but available for emergencies only during winter break from Dec. 28, 2022, through Jan. 2, 2023. We cannot commit to processing requests within the usual 5-day turnaround time. Therefore, PLAN AHEAD if you need to submit a request to our office.
