Tax Information Session – September 17th 4pm
Please join IRS VITA Program Coordinator for a session about general introduction to taxes. If you have just started receiving U.S. source income, such as an assistantship, you will want to be prepared for tax season this upcoming January! The session will cover:
- Basics of the U.S. income tax system
- Tax residency
- Income & tax treaties
- Paying taxes, withholding taxes
- Filing tax forms (general info, not a how-to)
- Free resources for assistance (NoRTH)
For those in Pullman, you can attend the session in person at Bryan Hall 324 at 4pm.
