The national grants, fellowships, and awards that are characterized as “distinguished” awards are highly competitive and demand extensive preparation. For example, gearing up for an undergraduate-level award involves an application process that typically begins as early as the freshman year. Eligibility

- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be an undergraduate during the grant period
- Be in good health

- Be a U.S. citizen
- Have a conferred bachelor’s degree before the start of the grant
- Be in good health
- Have sufficient proficiency in the written and spoken language of the host country to communicate with the people and to carry out the proposed study/research
Eligibility
WSU will select students for endorsement through WSU review processes. Students will be notified in early September if selected for endorsement.
