Traveling from WSU

Whether you are studying abroad on a program with Global Learning, or doing a research project abroad as a graduate student, it’s important to know what it means to travel internationally as a WSU student, faculty, or staff. As a member of the WSU community, you represent what it means to be a Coug, even when you travel. There is an expectation that you represent the university in a positive light by following the same policies that are in the student, staff, or faculty handbooks on campus when you are abroad.

Additionally, it’s important that you tell the Global Learning office what your travel plans are when you travel abroad with WSU. The Risk Management team diligently tracks where Cougs are in the world to update anyone about safety concerns and provide resources as needed. Check the International Travel Risk Management page to see what is available to you when you travel with WSU outside the scope of a traditional study abroad program.
