  1. Survey: Your opinion matters to us!

International Student and Scholar Services in the Office of International Programs is here to support you. To do that effectively, we want to learn what you need. You can help us help you by telling us through a survey about your time at WSU so far, including your experiences on campus and remotely. The survey can be accessed here and should take about 5-7 minutes. It is completely anonymous, meaning that your answers cannot be connected back to you.

Participation in this survey is voluntary as well as private, and we value your perspective and hope you will take this opportunity to let your voice be heard. If you choose to participate, please complete the survey no later than Friday, Oct. 22.

If you have questions about the survey, please reach out to us directly at ip.intlservices@wsu.edu. Thank you for your time.

  1. WSU Career Expo

If you are graduating this fall, here is a great opportunity for you. WSU Academic Success and Career Center will host the Career Expo with employers in two formats this year: virtual and in-person. Registration is required even if you plan to attend only one day!

Virtual event | Monday, Oct. 4 | Noon-4 p.m.

In-person event | Tuesday, Oct. 5 | Noon-4 p.m.

Here is the ASCC page with information about the events and some tips before attending: https://ascc.wsu.edu/wsuexpo/.

  1. Open advising hours

Do you have questions or concerns about your immigration status (F-1 or J-1)? If so, our office has open advising hours every Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Call 509-335-4508 or join our virtual office between 1 and 3 p.m. weekdays to meet with an advisor. We cannot accommodate same-day appointments with advisors, so relying on the open advising hours is the fastest way to get assistance. For students at other campus locations, feel free to reach out to your local DSO as well.

Remember: Do not rely on friends and/or an internet search for immigration advice – ask International Student and Scholar Services!
