  1. No-travel recommendation

We understand the desire of international students to reunite with their families during the holidays, but in accordance with WSU’s recommendation on travel to all students, and to mitigate the spread of Covid-19 in the community, we strongly recommend that you reconsider any plan to travel to other locations in the U.S. and more specifically, internationally.

As a reminder, we have yet to hear from ICE-SEVP on immigration guidance for spring term. Please speak with an international student advisor or your local DSO BEFORE traveling, as we may have updated guidance to provide at that time.

Engage with great events WSU has to offer throughout the year, especially over the winter holiday months. Visit this link for more information on what is happening around you.

For those who are staying in campus housing, dining services will have limited availability over the University closure: https://dining.wsu.edu/hours. Be sure to plan ahead.

Let us celebrate together the end of fall semester. Join the International Students and Scholar Services team for a fun afternoon of games and a chance to win prizes! All international students and scholars are invited.
